No More Smoking
Smoking is bad enough when you don’t have Crohn’s, but when you do it becomes increasingly worrisome. The reason for this is smoking has been strongly linked to the inflammation of Crohn’s, increasing your risks of discomfort and aggravation. By quitting smoking, not only are you doing your lungs a world of good, but you are also helping to improve your digestive tract.

Unfortunately, Crohn’s is a lifelong condition, which makes getting the right care, and getting it constantly is important. There are a couple of ways to make this easier. Caffeine With Care

Try substituting it with a caffeine free version or even a herbal tea of sorts, especially chamomile, which has been proved to help with the disease.
Alcohol Is Awful
There are numerous health implications induced by alcohol, but what makes it so bad for those with Crohn’s is the way it can interfere with the medication. Medication is needed desperately to manage Crohn’s and altering this management could be costly. It can also increase your chances of vomiting and nausea. All of this is especially true if you have been given the drug metronidazole. In all honestly, it doesn’t matter what your underlying illness is, alcohol rarely has any benefits and will always complicate what you do have.
