Blink-182 has canceled their gig in Saratoga Springs, New York, saying the band members were mourning the death of their friend, celebrity disk jockey Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein.

The band said in a statement that Weezer, Taking Back Sunday, Chester French, and some other jerks who wont mourn for DJ AM "some special surprises" would go on as scheduled at the Monday night show.

In the shocking news of Goldstein's death, the DJ was found dead Friday in his New York City apartment. Some say it's due to drugs, but the cause of death hasn't been released yet.

Goldstein and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker had gone through some life-changing times before: the pair were the only survivors of a plane crash last year in South Carolina that killed four people. Barker was also Goldstein's partner in the duo TRVSDJ-AM.

The band will resume its tour on Wednesday night in Cleveland.
