Nadal Progresses Into 3rd Round At Australian Open

Rafael Nadal beat Tommy Haas, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4 on Wednesday in a second round match at the Australian open beating Haas, the oldest player in the draw at 33, for the fifth time straight.
His knee was heavily taped though he showed no signs of discomfort to advance to the third round.
In other news, Sharapova advances to the third round by beating Hampton, Serena Williams makes her way into the third round after a year of not playing due to injuries. Serena Williams now has 500 wins and 104 losses in her career.
Defending champion Novak Djokovic has an earlier center court match against Santiago Giraldo. Andy Murray, who has lost the last two Australian Open finals, takes on Edourd Roger-Vasselin.
Four-time champion Roger Federer didn't even need to pick up a racket because Andreas Beck withdrew from their second-round match.
