Spain goalkeeper Pepe Reina has backed his underfire Liverpool team-mate
Fernando Torres to repeat his Euro 2008 final winning heroics against
Torres, 26, grabbed the goal that made Vicente Del
Bosque European champions two years ago, but has looked a long distance

top scorer David Villa's shadow.
Speaking to reporters in the
build-up to Wednesday's semi-final clash against Joachim Loew's side,
Reina insisted Torres would spark back into life.
"Torres is a
fully mature guy now and has experienced both tough and sweet moments in
his career and knows that's the way football goes," Reina said.
knows he enjoys the confidence of the coach, the players and he has
strong self confidence. He won us the final against Germany last time
and we all hope he repeats that this time."
