Sony took to IFA 2013 in Berlin to unveil its HDR-MV1 Music Video Recorder. Combining a high definition camcorder and stereo field recorder, it features a 120 degree Carl Zeiss lens with a back illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor for capturing video in 1080/30p while 120 degree stereo microphones record audio in standard digital AAC format or in uncompressed CD-quality LPCM.
It has automatic Audio Lip Syncing and WiFi and NFC for sharing online and directly to Android devices. Sony’s HDR-MV1 is set to arrive just in time for the holidays with a December release at a price of around $300 USD. (approx RM1,000)
