Is this even a surprise? Horace Dediu found and put into a financial graph that between the top eight mobile phone vendors, Apple and Samsung share some 99 percent of the spoils. RIM, LG, Sony, Motorola, Nokia and HTC are the rest. Only HTC made a profit out of the rest.
The remaining six all recorded losses for the quarter.
