This 69 year old French woman got trapped in her bathroom after the door locks failed on her. It locked her in. She was rescued three weeks after when neighbours couldn't stand the sound of her banging the pipes. She was calling for help.

She survived thanks to her diet of drinking warm water from the tap. [USA Today]
