Still need proof that Google is about to take over the world? It has been granted an order by he Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to buy and sell energy at market rates.
Google wants more control over the high energy costs of its many data centers, and they are aiming to become carbon neutral.
A Google spokesperson told CNET: “Right now, we can’t buy affordable, utility-scale, renewable energy in our markets. We want to buy the highest quality, most affordable renewable energy wherever we can and use the green credits.”
SpaceX's main goal is to make rockets reusable again. They just launched their unmanned Falcon-9 rocket to the International Space Station before the weekend when disaster struck. After a successful liftoff, the rocket experienced some problems, resulting in it exploding. Read more
