The Large Hadron Collider hasn't had much luck and it seems like its almost a waste of money. But in the name of science, damn it, just start and send us all to our doom already! After their failure late last year, the LHC is now set to partially start in November.

Partially starting means lower power which means half doom. Perhaps?

Still, it's hard not to have high hopes for the powerful 17-mile-long ring, and being able to find evidence of the Higgs boson particle is still a top priority.
