LED-equipped cap runs on solar energy.

We’ve been regular in showcasing solar-powered gadgets, which sometimes keep you off the wall socket for a charge, or sometimes just give you an ability which you never would have thought or longed for. Select Solar’s solar baseball cap can by no means come in the former category, as simply put it’s just a cap with a pair of solar charged LEDs on the underside.

The $50 cap carries a solar panel on top of the brim that takes about three-days of charging for about five hours of full-strength illumination and afterwards it just takes eight hours of daylight for a decent illumination. The lights can shine up to 30 feet provided you angle your head correctly at the target.
