Let's face it. Most people don't find wind turbines to be the prettiest among things. So would anyone complain if they looked beautiful?
With an output of around just 5 kW it's not designed to replace the towering versions in large open spaces outside cities, but it does stand at 23 feet, and its supposed to be able to blend in more to urban settings with a unique twisted design and curved wooden blades. 5 kW should be enough to keep the average home running, as long as the breeze doesn't die.
The unique shape of the Hercules turbine lets it capture and harness the wind coming from any direction. Which makes it extremely efficient.
