Kinect Controlled Projector Takes Swinging To The Stars One Step Further

Lab212 has taken the feeling of swinging in the backyard further with their Starfield swing installation. It lets you go from from star to star through the universe! The swing has a Kinect sensor and tracks your motion when you're moving the star field in unison so it feels like you're passing through it. The star field moves twice as fast when you swing forward as it does when you swing backward.
The star field can also be rendered in 3D using a simply anaglyph approach that requires the swinger to wear red and blue glasses. Check it out in the video after the jump!
