Smartphone controlled toys is the future, and the Dension's new WiRC controller can be operated with a touchscreen!
The controller unit integrates with any RC vehicle, whether it be a car, boat, or plane, creating a wi-fi hotspot that allows your iPhone to connect and control up to eight different servos. It also allows you to tweak the sensitivity and trimming for the on-screen joysticks or the iPhone's gyro.
The ugprade doesn't come cheap at $179 but for high-end RC enthusiasts, this isn't that much we suppose, considering they've already invested thousands or even hudnreds into an RC toy.
The largest social network in the world wants to stay that way and it's a good thing they're innovating this time around. Facebook's V-wing drone will provide Internet connectivity while flying for weeks at a time. This is incredible. Check out the video of how they are going to do it. Read more
