Polish design firm Formodesign have come up with their lavish "House on the Water" concept for the day the world is flooded due to global warming.
It is a completely self sufficient design in terms of energy and water and is accessible - of course - by boats (And yacht and ships!) since it will be difficult to build roads on water. It relies on both solar and tidal energy to keep it powered,. It also gets plenty of light and features a high-tech shading system that will keep it from being too bright or hot.
