Here's a really cool fuel-producing system which looks more like an artwork than a generator.

Emergent Architecture has found a way to utilize algae's biofuel production for our own use, incorporating LED lights to maintain optimum algae growth. Invented by OriginOil, the Flower Street BioReactor is based on the Bio-feedback Algae Controller which is fuels the LEDS by a solar array.

The installation will be set up in a shop window on a Los Angeles street and is intended to be completed by 2010.
