Bike rack-inspired prefab home offers off-grid sustainable living

Palo Alto Architect, Joseph Bellomo was inspired by a bike rack to build this design. This also seems like a shorter and more futuristic design of a Sarawak Long house. Anyway, the House Arc, or so its called is expected to incorporate a roof mounted solar electricity generating film to power all the appliances and lights used indoors. Say goodbye to bills!
This home is intended to be built from tubular steel armature and placed above the ground on concrete piers or wood decks. An 800 square foot House Arc could cost up to $100,000, which is just about the same price most people would pay for a home.
There’s a spreadsheet program that comes with the Mac Operational System which is called Apple Numbers. Actually, it’s a part of Apple’s iWork suite. This program crates files with data organized into rows and columns and may as well be provided with some graphs, tables, images and formulas.
