Rotary iPhone concept kind of defeats the purpose of the iPhone

What would happen if you combined an iPhone with an old-school rotary phone? Well, you'd probably get a much less functional iPhone. That's what this concept Touch Screen Rotary phone is like, featuring a circular touchscreen that acts as a dialing rotary.
It's not clear what the benefits of this phone are beyond its aesthetics. Sure, it's definitely slick-looking, but if you're going to try to mimic the iPhone, don't you think you'd want, you know, more features? It's just a very basic phone with a gimmicky dialing mechanism. I'll stick to the regular iPhone, thanks.
