Range Rover Sport vs the Porsche Cayenne. Which is the best? The all new Range Rover is lighter, faster and sharper and is an overall improvement over its predecessor but early tests suggest it trailers behind the sharper Porsche Cayenne.
The comparison was made by Autocar’s Steve Sutcliffe, who pitted the Range Sport Supercharged against a Cayenne Turbo, driving them on track, on the road and off it.
The Cayenne proved to be just as capable as the Range Rover off-road, and better on the road in every respect.
The Range Rover is still a high competent car, but may just not be a class-leading vehicle.
