Audi unveiled a special concept version of their Q3 at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show. The 2012 Q3 Jinlong Yufeng, or "Golden Dragon in the Wind", will cater to kite surfers of the world.
Its got a two roof mounted carbon fiber reinforced polymer boards with a clever kit pouch that can be used to hold wet articles of clothing or serve as a beach umbrella too.
The Q3 Jinlong Yufeng wears Liuli Yellow paint outside as well as a few special off-road body components based on production pieces. Its got its LED spotlights mounted in the grille and integrated dual exit exhaust as part of the package.
On the inside, the seats use woven leather covers and each door panel features a yellow leather insert.
Motivating the car is a turbocharged 2.5-liter direct-injection five-cylinder engine delivers 310 horsepower through a seven-speed transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive. Audi says,to power the Q3 Jinlong Yufeng to 62 mph in 5.5 seconds.
Volkswagen revealed its new Golf R 400 concept ahead of its debut at next week’s Beijing Motor Show. The concept uses a modified version of the 2.0 liter turbocharged engine found in the standard Golf GTI and R, and the R 400 gets a bump in output almost 400 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. Lamborghini is showcasing a special Aventador model built by its Ad Personam customizing program. The car is offered as a coupe, and it features dedicated color and trim composed by light exterior colors in combination with the Italian flag and a particular Ad Personam trim in the interior.
