Researchers at AutoNOMOS Labs in Germany developed a system that uses the driver's brain waves to pilot the car. The future is here!!
They've previously built cars like these that could be controlled with an iPhone, but now they're taking it to the next level. Of course, its nothing like what you'd imagine but its close!
They built a brain wave control that required teaching a computer to read electromagnetic signals from a set of sensors worn by a test driver / thinker. Turning, accelerating, and braking. At the moment its not near being road worthy but it works.
The research team told IEEE Spectrum that the system could be paired with an autonomous taxi system; passengers could deliver directions simply by thinking them. Watch the video below:

A car breakdown can happen to anyone; this, in turn, becomes very frustrating if you are on your way to work or far away from a workshop. However, such incidents can easily be avoided if the necessary and regular maintenance of the vehicle is carried out. This care in return allows the car owner to predict serious problems; small signals or signs of damage are often always there, although not easy to spot. Sadly, most times we often do not notice such issues until they cause a more severe breakdown. Read more
