VW’s Kombi Fulfills its Last Wishes in This Video Tribute

The VW Kombi is iconic. It is one of the world's most recognizable vehicles as part of popular culture - the choice of the hippy movement and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. VW has sadly decided to pull the plug on the Kombi.
The last VW Kombi produced was sent to a Hanover museum in Germany, so the automaker decided to make a video tribute of it.
This is how the documentary titled “Kombi Last Wishes” was born. Narrated by the VW Kombi itself (it’s a she, by the way), the film tells the story of the model’s life and ends with its...last wishes.
Just a few years ago, the majority of cars were manuals. Automatic gearboxes were seriously expensive and a luxury only the wealthy could afford.
