Nevada has officially granted Google a license to test their autonomous vehicles on public streets. Previously, Google has already underwent demonstrations in both Las Vegas and Carson City to prove its vehicles are as safe or safer than those piloted by humans.
Distracted driving is becoming a vice. Joining the list of behaviours that teens know are risky but engage in nonetheless. According to a survey by Consumer Reports, half of all teens surveyed had used a handheld phone while driving in the past 30 days, while 30 percent copped to texting.
Obese people, with a body mass index greater than 30, typically shave three years off their lives just by being overweight. Now, there's even more potential problems for obese people. And its in their cars.
It's good to see people freaking out that they have to use their mobile phones to text while they are taking this test. The next generation surely knows a thing or two about safety. In Belgium, a non profit organization called Responsible Young Drivers told people that in order to pass their driving test they would have to prove that they were able to "use a mobile phone while driving". And all of that was part of the test.
Google wants its self driving cars on the road sooner rather than later. They've already tested them, and they work and their engineers have already put its fleet of self driving vehicles through 250,000 miles of testing. Now they're planning to put another 750,000 testing miles on their expanding fleet.
This new Japanese commercial from Honda's corporate division shows off the passionate and innovative side of the company displaying several products from its past. It mainly focuses on the cars but also includes other things like motorcycles and agricultural machinery.
