Exotic animals are not meant to be pets. But in places like UAE, owning big cats is somewhat popular among young men as it is considered as a status symbol. And they're not afraid to show it all off on Instagram.
But it's not all just lions and cheetahs. He also has a hyena cub and baby chimp too. And this is all apparently legal provided that you have the right documents.
Guess when you're that loaded, you just need to up your game to stand out from everyone else. This particular dude has about 282,640 followers, but there are others just like him in the UAE uploading similar posts.
We can't imagine how problematic this hobby will be once that cute cub grows up and decides it doesn't want to be someone's playmate anymore.
