Rainbow to make a comeback in June

Girl group Rainbow, who just made their comeback with “Tell Me Tell Me” in February, is returning to fans earlier than expected.

DSP Media announced that Rainbow will be releasing ‘Rainbow Syndrome- Part 2’ in June, just after four months since the release of the Part 1 back in February. The group was originally planning to come back in the later part of the year, but they decided to make a bold movement.

Dal Shabet’s Ah Young joins the cast of ‘No Breathing’

Dal Shabet’s Ah Young will be making her big screen debut through the upcoming movie, ‘No Breathing’.

According to Dal Shabet’s agency, Happy Face Entertainment, Ah Young has been cast for the role of Se Mi in the movie ‘No Breathing’. Se Mi is a hard working and cute high school character who wants to become a singer. She will play the friend of Jung Eun, who will be played by Girls’ Generation’s Yuri.

Lee Min Ho to hold concert in Manila in July

Following his successful visit in the country back in November, Hallyu star Lee Min Ho is coming back to his fans in the Philippines with a solo concert this coming July.

The exciting news was confirmed by concert promoter Wilbros Live through its official Twitter and Facebook accounts. “Surprise! Korean superstar LEE MINHO is coming to Manila for his first-ever concert tour on July 6 at the MOA Arena!”

BoA unveils jacket photo for Japanese single ‘Tail of Hope’

Avex announced the release of BoA’s upcoming Japanese single ‘Tail of Hope’ along with a jacket image of the album, showing the fresh-looking singer smiling at a blue sky.

To be released on June 26th, ‘Tail of Hope’ is the 34th Japanese single released by BoA. The title song of the same name is a bouncy dance piece which was used as the theme song for the drama ‘Hakui no Namida’.

IU explains the fan’s assault rumor

According to a report, IU experienced an assault by an overzealous fan at actor Seo Ji Suk's wedding, where she was invited to sing. A young male fan who looks to be in his early 20s grabbed the mic after IU’s performance and asker her if she would like to marry him.

Kim Hyun Joong has given a helping hand to Chinese people suffering from the Sichuan earthquake.

On May 20, China's One Foundation Charity revealed via Chinese social platform Weibo, that Kim Hyun Joong donated 100 million KRW for the victims of Sichuan earthquake. The foundation promised everyone to make good use of the money in reconstruction of affected areas.

T-ara N4 to open at Chris Brown’s solo concert

T-ara’s first ever unit group, T-ara N4, will hold it U.S. debut performance in Chris Brown’s upcoming solo concert.

On May 20th, T-ara N4’s Eunjung, Jiyeon, Areum and Hyomin attended a press conference and revealed that the group will open the solo concert of American hip-hop singer Chris Brown on May 26 in Las Vegas.

2PM’s ‘GROWN’ dominates music charts in Korea and Japan

2PM recently released their third studio album, ‘GROWN’ and they topped in different album sales charts in various Asian countries. The album topped in Tower Records Pre-order Chart recently, and it also topped in Tower Records Daily Chart which was released on May 17th.

Psy becomes first Korean singer to win Billboard Music Award

Psy has become the first Korean singer to walk away with a trophy from the Billboard Music Awards.

The Billboard Music Awards was held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 19, where Psy was awarded the Top Streaming Song (Video) for “Gangnam Style,” the most-viewed music video on YouTube. Psy earned the grand title with his hit song of last year that recorded more than 1.6 billion views on YouTube.
