This whole setup will cost you $8 in parts from Ikea. And you'll need three things to build it. Two Ekby Valter brackets and one set of Rull screws and one Lycka to connect the two brackets. The components will set you back $8 USD, and all you have to do is just glue the components together.
The screws will fit into the holes in the base and the rest of your laptop will stand upright with the screen all the way open. Plug in an external keyboard and mouse, and you're all set, with a much more ergonomic setup than hunching over a screen.
