US scientists have made programmable molecule-transporting nanorobots that can seek out particular cell targets and deliver specific instructions for them to follow.



Modeled after the human immune system's white blood cells, this "DNA origami" technique is being deemed as a possible cure to cancer; the nanobots can be used to program the cancerous cells to destroy themselves.
